Basic Biofuels
Goals
Design and apply biofuel technologies for domestic use.
Issues Involved or Addressed
In general: design bioprocessing and biorefining processes to generate biofuels from biomass resources that are locally available. Current project: finilaze the commissioning the pilot pyrolysis unit housed in the Chemical Engineering department and produce sufficient quantities of pyrolysis oil.
