VIP Students Help Bring Medical Innovation to Life

At the 2026 Virginia Commonwealth University Capstone Design Expo, biomedical engineering students developed a working prototype of a trachetomy device, combining mechanical systems and sensor-guided technology with the goal of creating a lifesaving tool.
