VIP Consortium Leadership Transition

Randal Abler resigned as Executive Director of VIP Consortium, Inc. on May 14.  He had served in this role on a volunteer basis since the nonprofit’s inception in 2019.

Randy played a crucial role in creating the VIP Consortium and in transforming it from a grassroots effort into a fully functioning nonprofit organization. He had previously served as co-director of the VIP program at Georgia Tech for more than a decade and created VIP software tools that are used by multiple institutions. We are extremely grateful for his many significant contributions to VIP at Georgia Tech, to the VIP Consortium, and to the vision that we are all working toward.

Randy remains committed to the VIP Consortium and will continue to serve on the nonprofit’s board of directors.  Kitty Vogt, Associate Director, Partnerships of VIP at Georgia Tech, will serve as Interim Executive Director of the VIP Consortium, Inc. for the next few months, until a new Executive Director is named.
