VIP Consortium Announces Appointment of Mahesh Krishnamurthy to Board of Directors

Atlanta, GA. – May 23, 2022 – VIP Consortium Inc., a non-profit alliance of higher education institutions with Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) programs, today announced Mahesh Krishnamurthy will be joining the VIP Consortium board of directors.

Mahesh recently joined Apple and is currently an Engineering Program Manager. Krishnamurthy also has an extensive background in financial services designing and building market risk and credit risk software solutions for industry leaders such as JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America.

Krishnamurthy is a 2010 graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology and was also a member of the eStadium project, one of the early Vertically Integrated Projects (VIP) launched at Georgia Tech. Mahesh is excited to join the board and lend his experience and expertise to help grow the number of VIP program institutions around the world so that more students will have the chance to participate in such a vital program that prepares them for today’s job environment. Mahesh states, “I am proud to join and serve on the board of directors here at the VIP Consortium. The VIP program as a whole represents a unique research opportunity which allows the ability for students to apply the knowledge students gained in the classroom to a real-world application. As a VIP alum, I’m excited to provide guidance and mentorship, and have future students experience the same great opportunities that I had in the program.” The VIP Consortium welcomes Mahesh to the Board of Directors and is proud to add another VIP Project alumnus to the board.
