Florida Atlantic University Joins Global VIP Consortium to Drive Cutting-Edge Student Research

Florida Atlantic University has joined the international VIP Consortium, becoming the first university in Florida to participate in the global network of 50+ institutions advancing cross-disciplinary research. With support from a $2.2 million federal grant, FAU launched four faculty-led VIP teams spanning six colleges, each awarded $46,500 to develop long-term, collaborative projects. The initiative gives students early, hands-on experience in fields such as artificial intelligence, neurodegenerative disease, sustainability, and child welfare, preparing them for advanced research and career success.
