A team of students participating in Stony Brook University’s VIP program is advancing the future of construction through the development and testing of an intermediate-scale 3D concrete printer. Working alongside faculty mentors, students from multiple disciplines are creating sustainable concrete mixtures, refining printing technology, and contributing to a long-term research initiative that provides hands-on experience while exploring innovative, more efficient approaches to building design and construction.
