VIP @ Strathclyde & GA Tech win AASHE Award

Kudos to Scott Strachan, Steve Marshall, and Paul Murray at the University of Strathclyde and Ed Coyle and Julie Sonnenberg-Klein at Georgia Tech on winning the Campus Sustainability Research Award from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE)!  The award was given in recognition of their paper “Using Vertically Integrated Projects to embed research-based education for sustainable development in undergraduate curricula.” AASHE awards honor institutions and individuals in higher education for outstanding achievements and progress toward environmental, social and economic health.

Earlier this year, the VIP Programme for Sustainable Development at the University of Strathclyde also won the 2020 International Green Gown Award for Student Engagement. The Green Gown Awards celebrate exceptional sustainability initiatives being undertaken by universities and colleges across the world.

Congratulations on this well deserved recognition!
